On the 28th July, a sudden fire began in the district of Manavgat in Antalya, Turkey. It didn't seem very serious at first till mysterious fires started to appear in a current total of 29 cities in the country. Thankfully, most of the fires have been extinguished but unfortunately, the very first fire in Antalya is still going, in 4 different parts of the city, 4 days on. Sadly, 6 people have died so far, hundreds have had their health been severely affected and thousands have been displaced from their homes. It's extremely sad watching these people lose their only shelter and possessions that they've been holding on for a lifetime, disappearing in seconds, in front of their eyes. I, Yasmin, a student from the London Academy of Excellence in Tottenham, am currently in the city of Antalya, so I'd like to start this fundraiser to collect some money that will be used to buy essential food and living supplies for those who have been severely affected. In the past few months I'd been very successful at leading a fundraiser for a serious health cause so I thought it'd be amazing if I could replicate the same response again. After collecting a reasonable amount me and my family will travel to the affected zones in Manavgat and distribute out the supplies that you will help provide.
