Security

Security

We make use of various online and offline security measures to ensure that our service is never compromised by third-party activities.

The tried-and-tested technology of DigiCert's SSL Certificate protects against password and information interception, ensuring that the online relationship will be one based on trust. All servers are protected by 24/7 armed guards, live monitored internal cameras and hourly system backups.

Website Security

To safely and securely access your charity account or fundraiser account, always check that the URL in your browser's address bar begins with https://[email protected]/ (Note the "s" after "http").

Backups

Automatic real-time onsite and offsite backups protect your data, saving you the time and hassle of doing it yourself. All information is stored in our data centre on firewall-protected servers monitored for reliability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you don't have to worry about losing data. Huminity Helpers enables all organizations to backup their own data in the event of a system failure that requires restoration.

Password Security
  • Never share your Huminity Helpers password. We will never ask you for your password. If you believe that your password has been compromised, please change it immediately and contact us.
  • Create a secure password by choosing a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid choosing obvious words or dates such as a nickname or your birth date.
  • Keep your password unique. Don't use the same password for other online services. Using the same password for multiple websites increases the likelihood that someone could find your password and gain access to your account.

Email Security

We will never send an email with the greeting "Dear Huminity Helpers User" or "Dear Huminity Helpers Member". Real Huminity Helpers emails will address you by your first and/or last name or the organization name associated with your service account. We will never ask you to send us your password or financial information via email. You should share information about your account only once you have logged in to https://[email protected]/.
